On Dec. 27, 2021, Mr. Charles L. Stogner passed away in his home in Franklinton. Mr. Stogner was a life-long resident of Washington Parish. He loved tinkering on lawnmowers for fun and enjoyed fishing. However, his truest passion was loving his daughter and his grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherri (Ritchie) Bullock; six grandchildren, Christopher Holmes, Brandon Easterling, Catrina Easterling, Tiffany Stockstill, Dustin Bullock and Hannah Billek; six great-grandchildren, Zackary Easterling, Timothy Easterling, Colin Simmons, Caleb Thornton, Raylynn Holmes and Bryson Billek; one great-great-grandchild, Sophia Easterling; and three brothers, Ruben Stogner, Wallace Stogner and Willie Stogner.

Mr. Stogner was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Garner Stogner; his mother, Eva Owens Stogner; his father, Bert Stogner; three brothers, Leonard Stogner, Clinton Stogner and Daniel Stogner; and one sister, Viola Stogner.

Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements. Memorial service will be held at First Apostolic Church, located at 54112 Highway 60 in Bogalusa, on Saturday, Jan. 15, from 4 p.m. until 6 a.m. Memorial service will be officiated by Bishop Willie Pierce and Pastor Daniel Hanks.
