After recently recognizing Corrections Deputy Kristen Slaven as officer of the quarter, Washington Parish Sheriff Randy Seal held another ceremony, this time to honor Slaven as Corrections Deputy of the Year.

Presenting Slaven with a plaque memorializing her award, Seal congratulated her on her outstanding service.

“Kristen Slaven is an exemplary employee,” Seal said. “As I stated when she was recognized as Corrections Deputy of the Quarter, she is a humble, no-nonsense deputy who effectively manages her many duties. We are so pleased to honor her as a valuable member of our WPSO family.”
