Jeffery Wade Carrier, a resident of Amite, passed away at his home on Dec. 22, 2021. He was 63 years of age.

Jeff was a very talented musician who loved his music, family and friends. He enjoyed playing for all of them. He took great pride in his work.

He is survived by two sons, Jeremy Carrier and David Carrier; one daughter, Shelly Carrier Thomas; two daughters-in-law, Liria Carrier and Melanie McGourth; one son-in-law, Brent Thomas; and seven grandchildren, Brooklynn, Dalton, Scarlet, Jermiah, Elana, Ivan and Drew.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Carrier; mother, Virginia Carrier; sister, Nevin Yankie; and one step-son, Chris Jenkins.

Memorial services will be held at the Franklinton Mason Lodge, located at 901 Cleveland St. The time of the service will be Monday, Jan. 3, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Bro. Derren Uzel and Bro. Brad Cooper will be officiating.
