On Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, at Lakeview Regional an angel appeared and swept Regina Williams up. She was born to the union of Will J. and Nettie Roberts on Sept. 28, 1930.

Regina attended Washington Parish High School and completed her education at Southern University, where she obtained her degree in Education. She taught at several schools in the Washington Parish School System and later retired.

Regina met the love of her life, Elmer Williams, and they were joined in matrimony. Elmer Williams passed in 2010.

She leaves to cherish her memories: three children, Regina Williams and Helvis Williams, both of Franklinton, and Patricia Williams Dillion of Covington; six grandchildren, Dominique Dillon Peters, Alexus Williams, Moshe Williams, Tomika Williams, Reginald Williams and Shalonda Bell; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one sister living to cherish her memories, Bertha Williams of Franklinton.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Will J. and Nettie Roberts; two sisters, Willie J. Roberts and Dora Richards; two brothers, Hollis Roberts and Frank Roberts; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 29, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., followed by the funeral service at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.
