Louisiana’s Jordan Brown claims the Sun Belt Men’s Basketball Player of the Week nod after averaging a double-double in back-to-back non-conference contests.

Ragin’ Cajuns sophomore forward Jordan Brown averaged 23.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per game as Louisiana defeated McNeese, 83-68, and dropped a close in-state battle at Louisiana Tech, 78-69. The Roseville, Calif., native recorded his sixth career double-double with a 16-point, 16-rebound effort against McNeese. Brown then added a career-best 30-point showing at Louisiana Tech to pace all scorers in the matchup. On the year, Brown is leading the Ragin’ Cajuns in scoring (14.2 points per game) and rebounding (8.4 rebounds per game). Both averages are among the Top 10 in the Sun Belt Conference.
