Varnado’s Quanta Peters and Miguel Fland had solid games in the Wildcats’ 66-48 victory over Jewel Sumner in a home game that was held on Tuesday.

Peters led the team in scoring with 24 points to go with four assists, four rebounds and six steals.

Fland posted 20 points, seven assists and five steals.

Dameon Roberts recorded 16 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots.

C.J. Jackson tallied six points, 10 boards and three blocks.

Varnado’s next game will take place on Friday when the Wildcats travel to Vandebilt Catholic.
