Lady Demons soccer defeated International 4-0 on Saturday.

Kaylee Ard and Mercedes Lopez each scored two goals in the victory.

The Lady Demons are now 2-3 on the season.

“I was very happy with our play today,” Franklinton coach Matthew Hughes said. “We have a few starters out with injuries, so it was important for our bench to step up. They certainly did that.”

“After the loss to Covington on Thursday, we spent a lot of time working on pressuring the ball defensively and moving the ball on offense. I thought we did a much better job with those things today. We still have some communication issues to work out, but we are improving,” Hughes said.

Franklinton’s next game will be against Covington on the road on Thursday.
