Christopher “Chris” Quinn was born on Feb. 9, 1975, in New Orleans and departed this life at the age of 46 on Nov. 25, 2021, at Willis Knighton Hospital in Bossier City.

He was a graduate of the class of 1995 at Bogalusa High School. He was active with the Nellie Byers Training Center, doing various jobs.

Christopher leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Delores Quinn of Shreveport; his father, Alvin Keys of Wisconsin; one brother, Derrick Smith of Bogalusa; a sister, Cheryl Brown of Varnado; six aunts, Sheila Anders, Connie (Michael) Martin Sr. and Paulette Young, all of Bogalusa, Diane Anders of New Orleans, and Celeste Keys and Linda Keys of Chicago, Ill.; two uncles, Charles Anders of New Orleans, and Lawrence Ray Keys of Houston, Texas; a god-aunt, Florence Jones of Mississippi; a god-sister, Sheron (Carlos) Butler of Shreveport; a god-brother, Michael Martin Jr. of Bogalusa; two nieces, Dlecia Smith of Bogalusa, and Atria Nichols of Varnado; a nephew, Dlisha Smith of Bogalusa; and a host of cousins that he held very dearly to his heart, aunts, uncles, friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Willean Quinn Anders; paternal grandparents, Able and Linnie Keys, two uncles, Clifton Anders and Reginald Anders; cousins, Charlie Hayes, Brian Keith Hayes and Mona Varnado; and a sister-in-law, Torrie Smith.

Drive-through viewing will be Friday, Dec. 10, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa.

The funeral service will be Saturday, Dec. 11, at 11 a.m. at First Church of God in Christ in Bogalusa, Bishop Howard Quillen, pastor, and Elder Marty Gray, officiating.
