Henry James “H.J.” McMillan Jr., resident of Angie, passed away on Monday, Nov. 29, 2021, at the age of 70. To know him was to love him; Henry James never met a stranger. He loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and nature walks. Henry James was a collector of all things; his passion was collecting antiques and searching for arrowheads.

Henry James is survived by his sister, Judy Lyons; and his daughters, Laura McMillan and Tara McMillan. He was a beloved Pawpaw to his grandchildren, Isabella, Edan, Athalie, Isaiah and Adysen.

Henry James was preceded in death by his parents, Maxine and Henry James McMillan Sr.; his wife, Carole McMillan; and a grandson, Kenny “boy.”

Visitation for Henry James will be held Wednesday, Dec. 1, from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, located at 216 Alabama Ave. in Bogalusa. A graveside service will follow immediately after at 11 a.m. at Bonnie Cemetery in Angie.
