Participants in the “Dogwood Dash Fun Run/Walk” on Saturday evening had the opportunity to preview the “Christmas in the Park” lights before the general public. They also had the unique chance to enjoy an activity that is rare in Louisiana — ice skating!

Christmas in the Park, located in Bogalusa’s Cassidy Park, will be open 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. for drive-through guests and 7 p.m. until 8:45 p.m. for walk-through guests, beginning Thanksgiving Day.

It will also be open Nov. 26-28, Dec. 3-5, Dec. 10-12, and Dec. 17-26 (including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day).

Admission is $5 for adults, $1 for students, and $10 per vehicle for drive-through guests.
