Mrs. Kisha Dee Reeves, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021, at the age of 46. To her grandchildren, she was affectionally known as “Mimzey.” She was Southern Baptist in faith and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She was a volunteer with The Washington Parish Fair Rodeo Committee and worked with the Rodeo Queen Contest.

Kisha is survived by her husband, Steve Reeves; her children, Drew (Katie) Sandifer, McKayla (Jordan) Phelps, Katelynn (Donovan) Touchet and Jada (Cody) Dupont; her seven grandchildren, McKinley Grace Bunns, Avery Kate Sandifer, Blair Olivia Sandifer, Millie Touchet, Laiken Touchet, Eli Dupont and J.R. Dupont; her parents, Mike and Dianne Applewhite; grandmothers, Betty S. Crain and Billie Sue Alford; god-son, Landen Kennedy, and her mother-in-law, Linda Green. She is survived by a special friend, Melissa Thompson; and cousin, Chanda Winstead. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Kisha was preceded in death by her father, Bryan Alan Kennedy; her grandfathers, Houston Crain and Bill Alford; and her paternal grandparents, Barbara and Ken Kennedy.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 20, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until time for the services at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Fred Brumfield officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
