Little Rock’s Lomholt, Georgia Southern’s Rattanasin earn Sun Belt Golfer of the Week nods

After earning Top 10 finishes to conclude their respective fall campaigns, Little Rock’s Magnus Lomholt and Georgia Southern’s Sarunchana Rattanasin earned Sun Belt Golfer of the Week nods.

Men’s Golfer of the Week
Magnus Lomholt, Little Rock
(Jr. – Asnaes, Denmark)

Junior Magnus Lomholt was the top Sun Belt finisher at the Little Rock White Sands Bahamas Invitational, shooting 6-under par 210 (71-73-66—210) to place fourth. The Asnaes, Denmark, native’s final round 6-under par 66 is his fourth round in the 60s this season and was one stroke off his personal career-best. Lomholt posted nine under-par rounds out of 12 appearances during the fall season, ranking second on the team with a 70.08 scoring average and earning a pair of Sun Belt Men’s Golfer of the Week nods in the process.

Women’s Golfer of the Week
Sarunchana Rattanasin, Georgia Southern
(Fr. – Bangkok, Thailand)

Freshman Sarunchana Rattanasin led Georgia Southern to its third-straight runner-up finish at the Mercer Invitational with a 7-over par 223 (78-73-72—223). The Bangkok, Thailand, native placed 10th at the event to cap a fall season in which she never placed outside of the top 12. Rattanasin owns a 71.42 scoring average to go along with a runner-up finish, two Top 5 placements and three Top 10 results heading into the spring season.
