Pine’s Raiders will begin the 2021 playoffs with a home game against East Feliciana at 7 p.m. on Friday.

“East Feliciana is a good football team,” Pine coach Bradley Seal said. “They play in one of the better districts in 2A. They have a 6-foot-6 wide receiver that we will have to contain.”

No. 16 Pine is 6-3 and comes off of a 40-18 win over Varnado.

In that game, Adrianeun Johnson ran for 137 yards and two touchdowns. For his career, Johnson has run for 4,479 yards and 51 touchdowns.

Luke Spears threw for 125 yards and a touchdown on 4-of-6 passing.

James Owens combined for 160 yards rushing and receiving to go with a touchdown.

East Feliciana starts the week at 4-5 and defeated Northeast 39-0 last week.

The winner goes against either top-seeded Many (9-1) or No. 32 Independence (3-5).
