On Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, Tammy Yvonne Woodard Delaune, loving mother and devoted nana, passed away at the age of 60 while visiting her son in Alaska.

Tammy was born Aug. 6, 1961, in Bogalusa, to Lavon “Boots” Woodard and Barbara Miley Woodard. She began her career in the dairy industry as soon as she learned to walk and fit in a pair of tiny white rubber boots. She assisted her father in the large dairy operation until the end of the local dairy industry in 2002.

She attended Southwest Community College. Her strong Christian faith and gift of insight and intuition gave Tammy an opportunity to help multitudes of others. She was a resident of the Angie community a large majority of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lavon “Boots” Woodard and Barbara Woodard; brother, Timmy Lavon Woodard; sister, Tina W. Russell; nephew, Chance Russell; maternal grandparents, Roy and Florence Page Miley Babington; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Woodard.

Tammy is survived by her beloved sons, Morgan Granger, Rayne (Megan) Granger, and Drue (Bryanna) Sprehe; grandchildren, Abby and Chance Granger, Chloe, Liam and Kameron Sprehe, and Sierra Ingle; her sister, Terry (Gary) Russell; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.

Tammy attended New Beginning Baptist Church in Franklinton. A memorial service celebrating Tammy’s life will be held at New Beginning Baptist Church, located at 52224 Louisiana Highway 424 in Franklinton, on Sunday, Nov. 7, at 12:30 p.m.
