Brenda Williams left this world for her Heavenly home on Monday, Nov. 1, 2021, at the age of 66.

In 1973, Brenda graduated from Varnado High School and went to work for Bell South Phone Company as a dispatcher in the Covington office. Brenda did not have children of her own, but she helped raise many children by providing childcare in her home after her years of service at Bell South. Brenda lived life to the fullest. Although she contracted polio at the age of one, she never let her handicap prevent her from experiencing the joys that come from a life well lived. Brenda was a faithful member of the Varnado United Methodist Church.

Brenda is survived by her niece, Kasey (Ben) Lotz; two great-nephews, Lawson and Merrick Lotz; one great-niece, Sloane Lotz; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends. Brenda was preceded in death by her mother and father, Evelyn and Ancel Williams; maternal grandparents, Aver and John Dawsey; paternal grandparents, Bertie and Clyde Williams; brother, Ancel Williams Jr.; twin sister, Linda Williams; sister, Patty Williams Brignac; and a nephew, Jonathan Watts.

Visitation was held Wednesday, Nov. 3, at Varnado Methodist Church from noon until time for the services at 3 p.m., with interment following at T.P. Fornea Cemetery in Varnado.
