St. Paul A.M.E. Church

The officers and members of St. Paul A.M.E. Church invite you to join the church on Sunday, Oct. 24, at 2 p.m. for an appreciation service for the Rev. Dr. Kerry C. James. The preacher for the hour will be the Rev. Gary Porter of Union Bethel A.M.E. in Kentwood. Dinner will be provided. For more information, call Joan Hill at 985-241-5336.

Sun United Methodist Church

There will be a garage sale Friday, Oct. 29, at Sun Methodist Church from 8 a.m. until noon. For more information, call Joyce Corse at 985-516-9045. The event will be canceled if it is raining.

New Beginning Baptist Church

New Beginning Baptist Church will be having its fall festival on Saturday, Oct. 30. There will be games and prizes, pumpkin carving, as well as S’mores, if the weather allows. There will also be a trick or treat booth, and a raffle ticket sale to help with youth funds. The festival will start at 6 p.m. For any questions, call Charity Holmes at 985-348-4338. Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church

Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church will be hosting a Drive Thru Trunk N Treat on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Avenue B Sports Complex. Please use the back parking lot to enter the drive thru. Come early and enjoy lots of candy and learn how to have faith over fear, like the heroes from Hebrews 11. New Life U.P.C.

Pastor Wesley Quave and the New Life U.P.C. congregation at 1600 Jefferson St. in Bogalusa will be holding an October Fest on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Lots of fun activities for children will be available, as well as cake walks, jump houses, putt-putt golf and a general store with lots of goodies. Come join us for some friendly, fall fellowship.

Isabel Baptist Church

Isabel Baptist Church, located at 53674 Parker Road, will host Pastor Bro. Eddie Henson on Sunday, Oct. 31, for the morning service at 10:30 a.m. Everyone is invited to come hear the word of God.

Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church

Children’s Sunday School and Pastor Joe Arthur’s Adult Bible class each begin at 9:15 a.m. Sunday service starts at 10:30 a.m. with Divine Worship celebrating Holy Communion every Sunday, using best practices to avoid coronavirus spread. Seventh-day Adventist Church

The Seventh-day Adventist Church, located at 19617 Highway 21 North in Bogalusa, welcomes everyone to come worship with us every Saturday. Our Sabbath school begins at 9:40 a.m. and worship service begins at 11 a.m. We have a fellowship meal following our worship service and everyone is invited to stay.
