Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
Mara Grutkamp, ULM

Warhawks’ freshman midfielder Mara Grutkamp scored two goals in her team’s win on Sunday against conference-leader South Alabama. Her first came in the 17th minute off an assist from Taylor Henry to give ULM a 1-0 lead. In the 48th minute, she extended the lead to 3-0 on an assist from Efi Brame. Grutkamp now has four goals on the season. It was ULM’s first-ever win against South Alabama in 18 meetings, dating back to the start of the Warhawk soccer program in 1999.
Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Michaela English, Georgia Southern

Eagles’ freshman goalkeeper Michaela English made eight saves, including making a PK save, in recording her sixth shutout of the season in Friday night’s 1-0 overtime win against Texas State. She also came up with five saves in Sunday’s 1-1 double-overtime draw with Louisiana. As a true freshman, English continues to lead the Sun Belt in shutouts (6) and the nation in goalkeeper minutes played (1,495).
