Sharon Henry Warren, affectionately known as “Breeze,” was born on March 14, 1962, in Bogalusa, to the late Earl Varnado and Dixie L. Marks. She departed this earthly life peacefully at the age of 59 on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021, at Riverside Medical Center.

She was an active member of the Sweet Rest Missionary Baptist Church, where she attended regularly until her health declined.

Sharon was employed at Good Samaritans Nursing Home as Head Cook for many years. She was also a caregiver at many facilities within the parish.

Sharon loved her family unconditionally and her family loved her just as much. Her passion was spending time with her family, cooking, dancing, listening to music, playing cards, watching sports, having fun while making others laugh, and enjoying her friends.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: a devoted husband, Gregory Warren; two beautiful daughters, Ynika Henry and Lameshia Long; a special son-in-law, Terrance Bickham; seven grandchildren, Kabe Wilson, Jaki Brown, Aria Bickham, Terry Bickham, Jr., Dunyla Anders, Duniele Anders Jr. and Amani Hart; four brothers, Harry (Shelby) Anders, Richard Anders, Darryl (Tinna) Anders and Bobby Anders; three sisters, Lorretta (Thad) Gatlin, Mona Lisa Fowler and Vickie Anders, all of Franklinton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Varnado and Dixie L. Marks; two sisters, Ladonis Ann Marks and Mary Fabre; one brother, Vince Anders; and grandparents, Gertrude Pittman and Marie Varnado.

A drive through viewing will be held Friday, Oct. 8, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.

The funeral service will be Saturday, Oct. 9, at 1 p.m. at Sweet Rest Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Norwert Hills Jr., pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Sweet Rest Memorial Park.
