No. 4 Pearl River soccer’s Harper Baggett (Ocean Springs) has been named the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the second straight week, the league recently announced.

The 6-foot-2 freshman was a huge part of the Wildcats’ success in last week’s 4-0 win at Southwest and 3-1 victory against then No. 18 Meridian.

Against Southwest, Baggett claimed one goal and assisted on another and he followed that performance up by scoring a goal against Meridian.

Baggett also claimed the award one week earlier after scoring a hat trick and assisting on a goal in matches against Jones College and East Central.
