Bowling Green School is on the road this week and is traveling to Silliman Institute.

“SIlliman is a 5A school,” Bowling Green coach Riley Boudreaux said. “It doesn’t look like they have a lot of two-way guys and they throw the ball a lot. They will probably throw the ball more than anybody we play. We’ll have to see how our guys cover and how we bounce back after a tough loss on homecoming.”

The Buccaneers come in with a record of 0-4 and are coming off of a 7-6 loss to Sylva Bay Academy.

Bowling Green’s touchdown came when Nathan Jenkins connected with Connor Dedon on a short pass that Dedon took to the end zone for a 75-yard score.

One of the things that hurt the Buccaneers was turnovers. Bowling Green committed four turnovers last week.

Silliman enters the game with a 1-4 record. Last week, they were topped by Centreville Academy, 26-24.

These teams met last year with Bowling Green winning, 48-32.
