Mr. Jerry Claude Arabie, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away Sept. 14, 2021, at the age of 72.

Mr. Arabie is survived by his sisters, Tina K. Pierce of Sun, Sara Hathorne of Sun, and Judith Nash of Bogalusa; and a sister-in-law, Pamela Pierce of Sun. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Arabie was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Gaudreau Arabie; his parents, John R. and Patricia B. Pierce; a son, Dickie Arabie; and one brother, John Michael Pierce.

A graveside service was held Friday, Sept. 17, at John R. Pierce Family Cemetery at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Travis Houston officiating. Pallbearers were Robert L. Wood, Toby D. Cooper, Darin Pierce, Danny Hathorne and Alan Nash.
