4-H enrollment now open
Washington Parish 4-H enrollment is now open online. Use the link, https://v2.4honline.com. Each family will only need one account to register all youth and adults who want to volunteer. Washington has been chosen as 1 of 17 parishes in the state to pilot this new registration system. So, while things make look a little different, we no longer have to worry about those paper copies being lost between school and home. All fees will be paid at school, as in the past. 4-H is offered in every public and private school in our parish, along with the Clover Explorers Homeschool Club. For questions, call the LSU AgCenter at 985-839-7855 and ask to speak with Beth Putnam.

Community-wide cemetery clean-up
The Bogalusa Cemetery Commission is looking for volunteers for a community-wide cemetery cleanup at Bogalusa Cemetery and Ponemah Cemetery. Scheduled acts in the music line-up include Randy Jackson of Zebra, A Tribute to Led Zeppelin; The Chad Harry Experience; The Rezonators; Claire Kellar; and a street performance by saxophonist Steve Burke.
