Parishioners from Annunciation Catholic Church in Bogalusa, along with other volunteers, spent their Labor Day traveling to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St. Charles Parish, in order to help feed almost 2,000 Louisiana citizens affected by Hurricane Ida.

It was church volunteers’ second trip to the storm-battered region of the state, as they had also paid a visit the previous Thursday.

In addition to cooking meals, the volunteers also brought recovery supplies.
