On Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021, Allen Joseph Netherland, a resident of Angie, passed away peacefully at the age of 56.

Mr. Netherland was preceded in death by his wife, Angela Diane Netherland; his mother, Ivy Netherland; his father, Shelby Netherland; and also his birth parents, Nell and Joe Petrolia.

He leaves behind his three children, Joey (Dana) Netherland, Shelby (Lance) Wallace and Zachary (Ashley) Netherland; his 13 grandchildren, Abigail, Joleigh, Alayah, Bubba, Aubree and Joey Jr. Netherland, Jason, Karson, Bentley and Dawson Wallace, and Zaylee, Bentley and Ivy Netherland; his brother, Darrell Petrolia; and sister, Joyce (Gene) Mooneyham. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 13, from 10 a.m. until time for the services at 2 p.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at Hilltop Baptist Church Cemetery.
