Rawlin “Pops” Erwin Williams, 80, passed away at St. Tammany Parish Hospital on Friday, Sept. 3, 2021, in the arms of his wife and three daughters. He was born on July 26, 1941, in Bush, where he resided, enjoying the country life.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Elton Williams and Evie Delcuze; his brothers, Huey Williams and Ralph “Donald” Williams; and his son-in-law, David Troxclair.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 55 years, Audrey “Lani” Williams, and daughters, Angel Troxclair, Kimberly Flocke (Michael) and Kelli Robert (Thomas); his grandchildren, Madison Robert, Reagan Robert, Kennedy Robert, Cami Flocke, Cali Flocke and Michael Flocke; his “pride in joy” great-grandson, Kyson Flocke; his sisters, Dorothy Wood and Jean Pierce; and numerous nieces and nephews who proudly called him “Chief.”

He worked many years doing what he loved, clearing and developing land with heavy equipment, laying pipes for water and sewer, and repair. After retiring, he continued working on his land, mowing the grass, feeding the birds and wildlife, and sipping a cup of coffee with his family and friends.

He had a love of everything “old” and a passion for preserving our country’s heritage. He founded the “America’s Old Iron Museum” and hosted the annual “Antique Tractor and Engine Show,” sharing the life of the good ole days with the public.

Many great friends and unforgettable memories were made traveling to fairs and festivals with the “International Harvesters Tractor Club, Chapter 31” and the “Past Time Power Association.”

He was a member of Sun Methodist Church and devoted countless hours distributing food boxes and collecting clothing items to assist local families in need.

Mr. Williams loved his family, enjoyed friends, and lived his life to help others making this world a better place.
