Mrs. Pamela Helton, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away Aug. 17, 2021, at her residence at the age of 70. Mrs. Helton retired from Bellsouth after 25 years of service.

Mrs. Helton was survived by her husband Charles Dewayne Helton, who passed away two days after her.

Mrs. Helton is survived by her sons, Charles (Denise) Blackwell and Cole Helton, both of Bogalusa; two brothers, Richard (Linda) Kellar and Gerry (Peggy) Mizell; her grandchildren, Kelli (Dustin) Magee, Hunter Blackwell, Landon, Levi and Lexie Burge; and her great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Braylon, Hayden and Dilyn Magee. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Helton was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Guy Blackwell Sr.; her parents, Billy Ray and Mildred Mizell; and a brother, Michael Joe Kellar Sr.

A visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 27, from 9 a.m. until time for the services at 2 p.m. at Palestine Baptist Church with the Rev. Frederick Brumfield and the Rev. Kelly Penton officiating the service. Interment will follow at Pounds Cemetery.
