Lindsey Ray Butler Sr. was born on Dec. 4, 1945, to the late John A. and Amy Butler.

Lindsey passed on Aug. 17, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loved ones, after a long battle with stomach cancer.

Lindsey lived his life to the fullest, always putting God first.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 28, at 11 a.m. at Cook-Richmond Funeral Home in Bogalusa. The Rev. R.L. Palmer of St. Paul A.M.E. Church will officiate. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the Sun Community Cemetery.
