Mrs. Billie Jo Busby, “B.J.,” a life long resident of Bogalusa, passed away Aug. 7, 2021. She was a graduate of PRC with an Associate of Arts degree and also a graduate of the Sullivan Nursing Program with an LPN degree.

Mrs. Busby is survived by her husband of 32 years, Darrin Keith Busby; two sons, John Tyler Busby and Joseph Peyton Busby; a special cousin, Samantha Sharp Penton; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy John Barber and Cheryle Winburn Barber.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 28, from 9 a.m. until the service time at 11 a.m. at the Pettitt Memorial Church with Bro. Tommy Pittman officiating.

Services were entrusted to Brown McGehee Funeral Home of Bogalusa.
