Bowling Green School’s Nathan Jenkins threw three touchdowns and caught another in a 27-0 victory over the Northshore Vultures in a jamboree game at home on Friday.

Jenkins had touchdown throws of 50, 55 and 30 yards.

The 50 yarder was to Connor Farris. Jenkins connected with Will Hollywood on the 55 yarder and he threw a 30-yard touchdown pass to Dray Killingsworth.

Jenkins caught a scoring pass from Cole Farris.

“The outcome was good,” Bowling Green School coach Riley Boudreaux said. “We could’ve played cleaner in some spots. We’ve got some real things we need to fix before the start of the regular season.”

Bowling Green will begin the season on Friday against Centreville Academy on the road.

Centreville went 4-4 last season and lost to Glenbrook School, 55-26, in the first round of the Class 3A playoffs.

“Centreville is always a tough-nosed team,” Boudreaux said. “They’re going to run against you and try to punch you in the mouth. They’re tough to play week one because they know what they’re doing.”
