Four students from Washington Parish and a former Franklinton High School player attended the Manning Passing Academy that took place July 15-18 at Nicholls State University.

Bowling Green School teammates quarterback Preston Jarrell and running back/wide receiver Russell Wilson, Franklinton quarterback Jacob Crain and Pine quarterback Luke Spears all went to the camp. Jacob Smith, who is a 2018 Franklinton High School graduate, is on LSU’s film crew. He filmed footage of the clinic for the Manning that is put into a highlight video and is put on YouTube.
