Bethlehem Baptist Church
Bethlehem Baptist Church and Elder Christopher Matthews invite the public to attend Youth Ministry Promotion Day. Church Youth will be recognized for entering Pre-K thru college for the 2021 school year. The event is scheduled for Sunday, July 25, during the 11 a.m. Worship Services. All students will be given certificates. Honor Roll students for the end of the year 2020-21 school session will receive gifts. The guest speaker for the program is Minister Brandon Williams. He serves as Associate Minister at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Bogalusa. Williams is employed as a policeman for the City of Bogalusa. Social distancing and all safety protocol will be observed.

St. Paul A.M.E. Church
The officers and members of St. Paul invite you to come greet and meet our new pastor, the Rev. Dr. Kerry C. James and family, on Sunday, July 25, at 11 a.m. You will be glad you did once you hear the word from God’s anointed mouthpiece. Hope to see you there. Mt. Zion Church of Varnado
Dr. Byron C. Muse and the Mt. Zion Church family of Varnado will celebrate their annual homecoming and church anniversary on Sunday, Aug. 1. The church will be celebrating 148 years of service to the community. There will be one service beginning at 11 a.m., followed by a three-night revival with Dr. Sydney Jones of Greater Center Baptist Church of Angie as the evangelist. Services will begin at 7 p.m. nightly. As a precaution, the church is asking that visitors wear face coverings for the sake of those who are not vaccinated. Dr. Byron C. Muse is pastor and the Rev. Lesley McKinley is youth pastor.

Elizabeth Sullivan Memorial United Methodist Church
E.S.M. United Methodist Church, located at 510 Ave. B, would like for residents to come and worship with the congregation. Those who are unable to attend in person can follow the service on Facebook at “ESM, UMC.” All are welcome.

Love Outreach Family Worship Church
The Love Outreach Family Worship Church is distributing USDA “Food for Families” food boxes to Bogalusa and the surrounding area. Distribution will be every Wednesday at various locations. For more information, call 985-294-4587.

Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church
Children’s Sunday School and Pastor Joe Arthur’s Adult Bible class each begin at 9:15 a.m. Sunday service starts at 10:30 a.m. with Divine Worship celebrating Holy Communion every Sunday, using best practices to avoid coronavirus spread. Join our congregation as we focus upon the Holy Gospels of St. Mark and St. John throughout this next church year. Social distancing, facemasks and sanitizing is being practiced as recommended. Calvary Christian Fellowship
Calvary Christian Fellowship, located at 1240 Ave. F. in Bogalusa, is having Sunday morning services in house at 10:30 a.m., and welcomes the public to come worship. If you can’t make the service on Sunday morning, then you can watch it live streaming on Pastor Larry Lassley’s Facebook page. You can also watch on Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. on live streaming. New Bethel Church
Every week is full of activity at New Bethel Church, located at 737 Ave. F in Bogalusa. Monday at 6:30 p.m. is a Small Group Class on Prayer by Sister Mary. Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. is Wild Ones Youth Night. Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. is a Leadership and Prayer Meeting, and at 6:30 p.m. is Worship and Teaching. Thursday at 6:30 p.m. is Celebrate Recovery. Friday at 6 p.m. is Chosen Movie Night. Saturday at 6 p.m. is Karaoke Night, and Sunday at 11 a.m. is the Sunday Morning Service.
