Debra “Deby” Carol Stewart was born Jan. 18, 1959, and passed away at Slidell Memorial Hospital on July 1, 2021.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Randall Stewart of Bogalusa; one brother, William Freeman (Lynn); four sisters, Carolyn Kimbrell and Michelle Jones (Stephen) of Bogalusa, Naomi Graves of Jackson, Miss., and Gloria Smith (Paul) of Independence; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Louise Brooks Freeman; a brother, T.J. Freeman Jr.; three sisters, Ina Pearl Jones, Catherine Marie Duncan and Julia Ann Freeman; and one nephew, Thomas Richard Franklin Jenkins Jr.

Deby had a big heart and loved deeply. She will be missed.
