An Oklahoma fugitive who removed his ankle monitor and fled the state following charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault was arrested on Tuesday at a residence on Jerry Moses Road in northeast Washington Parish, according to Chief Deputy Mike Haley of the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Haley said that WPSO detectives accompanied the United States Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force to the residence, where June Aquuarius Crumedy, 18, was taken into custody without incident. Crumedy was transported to the Washington Parish Jail, where he will remain until extradited to Oklahoma.

“We are always willing to assist our federal law enforcement partners when called upon,” Washington Parish Sheriff Randy Seal said. “At the same time, they are always willing to assist us. That’s the way law enforcement agencies work, even across jurisdictional boundaries and state lines.”
