A lifelong resident of Bogalusa, Charles Sherwin “Red” Williams went to his heavenly home on June 22, 2021. He was 86 years old, having been born on Jan. 25, 1935, to Cecil and Dorothy Williams.

He is survived by his daughter, Sheree Williams Wascom (David); son, Greg Williams (Myra); five grandchildren, Dustin Wascom (Shantel), Le’Ann Williams, Greg Williams (Buffy), Emily Williams and Jennifer Parker (Cecil); and 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Ernie Williams (Ann) of McAllen, Texas; brother-in-law Joe Moody (Ronnie) of Pensacola, Fla.; and a sister-in-law, Kathryn Williams, of Ruidoso, N.M.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Dorothy Williams; and a brother, Walter Cecil (Dub) Williams of Ruidoso.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Monroe Street Baptist Church, 1412 Monroe St., Bogalusa, LA 70427. Arrangements are pending at this time, in care of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home.
