Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Keith Lynbrook Long crossed the threshold of death to rest in his new heavenly home, with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.

He accepted Jesus Christ at a very early age at Plainview Church of Christ Holiness USA. Keith was a very gifted musician and a talented singer, always willing to render his talents whenever and wherever there was a need.

He graduated from Mt. Hermon High School and continued his education to become an LPN Nurse. Keith worked in the nursing field for 30-plus years, retiring from Da Vita after his health began to fail.

Keith had a heart of gold, and cared for family and everyone else with tender loving care. We will never be able to replace the love he shared with us.

He leaves to cherish his memories: adopted son, Terrance J. Long, (his heart) Lil C.J.; two nieces, T’Keyah (Big Baby) Banks and Keashia R. Banks; brother-in-law, Glyn E. Banks; godson, Darrius Ponton, all of Mt. Hermon; one aunt, Fairy Sims of San Francisco, Calif.; very special cousins, Mary A. Dorsey of Mt. Hermon, Patricia A. Williams of Plano, Texas, and Frankie C. Brown of Sunset; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Henri Pearl Long; sister, Vanessa R. Banks; and grandparents, Obe and Nina Miller and George and Nancy Long.

A drive-through viewing will be held on Thursday, June 10, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.

The funeral service will be Friday, June 11, at 11 a.m. at Bethel Church of Christ Holiness with Eld. Albert Brumfield, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Conerly Cemetery.
