The Bayou Lacombe Cardinals will start their postseason run on Saturday in the Amateur to Professional Developmental Football League Western Conference playoffs.

The team has seven former high school players from Washington Parish, including Markus Conerly, Kian Conerly, Lawrence Robinson, Kobe Crain, Josh Robinson and Bogalusa’s Jacob Walker and Booker Roberts.

The Cardinals will play against the Crescent City Kings at Lakeshore. The Cardinals were defeated by the Kings, 17-14, in triple overtime earlier this season.

The game will kick off at 7 p.m.

Admission is $10 for adults and children 12-under get in free.
