Washington Parish Sheriff Randy Seal is asking for the public’s help to identify two suspected shoplifters at the Dollar General Store in Mt. Hermon on Thursday, according to Chief Deputy Mike Haley.

The two entered the store, filled a buggy with items and exited through the rear storeroom door, Haley said.

The white male suspect was wearing an orange shirt and dark colored shorts. The white female suspect was wearing a pink shirt, tie dyed jacket and either gray or white shorts. Both suspects were wearing COVID-19 masks.

Any person who might be able to identify either or both of these suspects is asked to call the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office at 985-839-3434. Callers may remain anonymous.

“Let’s identify this pair,” Seal said. “Let us know who they are and we will take it from there. We’re more than happy to provide them with transportation, jumpsuits and meals while they are guests in the parish jail.”
