The Spartanette Service Club recently donated a basket filled with “Thinking of You” cards, with gifts to purchase snacks from the concession machines, to clients at Resthaven Living Center. The gift cards can to be used as prizes for the various games and activities the residents participated in.
The Spartanettes realized that the COVID-19 pandemic has been extremely stressful on the elderly and they wanted to do something that would bring smiles to their faces in these difficult times. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the club decided on this service project, since they could not visit and provide entertainment to the residents.
The Spartanettes are constantly brainstorming for creative ideas to provide services that bring smiles to so many in these stressful times.
