Evelyn Rae Whitfield Starns, a resident of Bogalusa, 65, born on May 21, 1955, in Bogalusa, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington.

She is survived by her husband, Karl Starns III; children, Phillip Ray Lorio, Circe Bridges, Brandy Starns and Karl Starns IV; granddaughters, Penelope and Clementine Bridges; siblings, Vaudie Whitfield, Vicki Baughman and Ronnie Whitfield; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at Ponemah Cemetery on Sunday, May 9, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Travis Houston officiating.
