The latest service project that the Franklinton High School’s National Honor Society members participated in was collecting pet food and accessories to be donated to the Marks Animal Rescue located in Mt. Hermon.

This privately operated animal rescue is an example of people selflessly giving back to the community and the surrounding areas. Marks Animal Rescue currently houses 57 rescue dogs and several other various animals in need.

As always, the members diligently collected both dry food, cans of food, leashes, collars, and toys. In total 150 pounds of dry food and over 60 cans of food were collected. Numerous toys, collars, and old blankets were donated for our furry friends.
