Kerry Edmond Miley, a life-long resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at the age of 60. Kerry was a talented and knowledgeable auto mechanic who loved working on cars, especially Mercedes-Benz, having worked at NSB in Covington for several years and at H&K Automotive for many more years. He was a kind, thoughtful man who would help anyone with anything. Kerry was a graduate of Bogalusa High School.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison “Harry” and Verda Allison Miley; four uncles, Cedric, Ambrose, Luke and Voyt Allison; a cousin, Patricia Allison; two stepdaughters, Krystal and Lynn Hudson; and one stepson, Carl Hudson.

Kerry is survived by his wife, Rachel Elaine Schneider Miley, one stepdaughter, Tammy Hudson; one stepson, Harold Hudson; three granddaughters, Raye-Diamond Hudson, Darrylyn Hudson and Nathaly Martinez; one brother, Sid Miley (Denise); three sisters, Cathy Robbins (Kelly Adams), Karen Farrell (David), and Janet Olier (Dave); five nieces and nephews, Chad Robbins, Michael Farrell (Jeane), Katrina Alford (Rob), Blake Robbins (Tiffany) and Jon Farrell (Carrie); great-nieces, Miley Farrell and Khyler Alford; and great-nephews, Bayne and Lucas Robbins, Colin Farrell and one yet to be named.

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Saturday, April 17, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Funeral services will begin at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Larry Lassley officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
