Mt. Hermon defeated by Holden, wins doubleheader over Maurepas

Mt. Hermon School’s Lady Jackets were defeated by Holden on Friday, but won a doubleheader over Maurepas on Monday in District 8-B games.

On Friday, Mt. Hermon was defeated by Holden, 17-0, in four innings on the road.

Shunna Williams and Alexa Bulloch posted two hits each for Mt. Hermon.

In Monday’s home games, Mt. Hermon defeated Maurepas, 30-19 and 18-7.

In the 30-19 game, Alexis Magee drove in nine runs and went 5-for-6. Magee tripled twice and doubled once. She scored four runs.

Sydnei Tullos posted three hits, including a triple with three RBIs and five runs scored.

Williams had two hits with a run batted in and four runs scored.

Layla Riley singled and tripled with three RBIs and a run scored.

Bulloch doubled, drove in four runs and scored runs.

Jadyn Stafford singled and scored four runs.

Bailey Fortenberry singled, drove in four runs and scored a run.

Katherine Quit singled, scored three runs and had two runs batted in.

Emily Bulloch scored three runs.

In the 18-7 contest, Fortenberry tallied three hits with an RBI and three runs scored.

Alexa Bulloch homered and singled with drove in two runs and scored four runs.

Williams recorded two hits, including a triple and a run scored.

Magee posted two hits, two runs scored and an RBI.

Quin recorded two hits, two runs batted in and a run scored.

Stafford singled with two RBIs and two runs scored.

Tullos singled, drove in two runs and scored two runs.

Riley singled, scored a run and drove in three runs.

Emily Bulloch tallied two RBIs and a run scored, while Blayke Brinker scored a run.
