Ann S. Owens, 73, passed away on April 3, 2021, at her residence in Bogalusa. She was a lifelong piano player at church and was a teacher to many at her home.

Ann is survived by her husband, James Owens of Bogalusa; her children, Cathy Lopez of Bogalusa, Byron (Elizabeth) Owens of Bogalusa, and Justin Owens of Henleyfield, Miss.; sisters, Carolyn (Lavern) Jenkins of Pine, Mary (Mike) Williams of Varnado, and Martha Lee of Bogalusa; a sister -in-law, Faye Sheridan of Bogalusa; 10 grandchildren, Hannah Lopez, Jonah Lopez, Sheridan Lopez, Austin (Skylar) Owens, Luke (Caitlin) Owens, Will (Katelyn) Owens, Isabelle Owens, MaKenzie Owens, Malorie Owens and Mia Owens; and great-grandchildren, Everleigh Owens, Sebastian “Bash” Owens and Willow Silva.

Mrs. Owens was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Sheridan and Pearlie Miley; and one brother, Glen Sheridan.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 5, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., and 9 a.m. until the service time of 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, all at Ben’s Ford Baptist Church. The Rev. Caleb Martin officiated and interment was held at Mt Sinai Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
