Mr. Lash LuRue “Lash Boy” Brice was born Oct. 21, 1951, to the late Juanita Martin Brice and Robert Lee Brice Sr., and departed from his earthly house to his home in glory at the age of 67 on Monday, March 29, 2021, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington.

Lash was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Christopher Matthews.

He leaves to mourn his passing: two sons, Robert (Nicole) Allen of Houston, Texas. and Kendrick Allen of Dallas, Texas; four sisters, Fannie Mondy, Catha Peters (Robert), Marilyn, Harry Jo Ellen (Ray) McGowan of Bogalusa; two brothers, James Earl L. (Francis) Brice of Laguna Beach, Calif., and Glenise Brice of Las Vegas, Nev.; grandchildren, Kriera, Kendrick Keandra, Kayben and Kenzie Allen, Nicobe Williams, and Jaylon Rachel; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Brice, Brenda Brice both of Bogalusa, Michelle Brice of Phoenix, Ariz., and Emma Jean Sibley of Bogalusa; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Juanita and Robert Brice Sr.; brothers, Robert Jr., Charles Sr., and Donald Brice, James Sibley and Timothy Wilson; grandparents, Comelee Williams, Melvin Martin Sr., Willie Brice and Cybell Thomas; two aunts, Melvina and Georgia Martin; and one uncle, Melvin Martin, Jr.

A drive-through viewing will be held Wednesday, April 7, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 8, at 1 p.m., at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, with the Rev. Christopher Matthews officiating. Interment will be in the Bogalusa Cemetery.
