Andrew “Andy” Daley, 89, born on Sept. 14, 1931, in McComb, Miss., and a resident of Bogalusa, passed away March 23, 2021. Andy was a devout Catholic and a longtime member of Annunciation Catholic Church. He loved listening to music. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and gunsmith. He loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Merle Rhoden Daley; one son, Carl (Judy) Daley; three daughters, Dorothy (Charles) Wall, Cynthia Watkins and Angela (James) Pierce; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tobias Daley and Sarah Stampley Daley; son, Anthony Daley; and son-in-law, Scott Watkins.

Visitation was Thursday, March 25, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home. Visitation resumed on Friday, March 26, at Annunciation Catholic Church at noon, until the time of Catholic Mass at 2 p.m. Interment immediately followed at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Bogalusa.
