Raiders competed in Judy Baehr Relays at Covington

Pine’s track/field team competed in the STA-CHS Judy Baehr Relays that took place on March 12 at Covington.

Averyon Wiley came in 10th in the long jump, while Ian Beltran was 16th with distances of 17 feet, 6 inches and 15-5, respectively. Parkview Baptist’s Logan Harris won with a jump of 22-1.

Samuel Thomas ran 17th in the 400 meters, clocking in at 1 minute, 4 seconds. St. Paul’s School’s Nathan Aupied won in 51.83 seconds.

Wiley and Beltran were 18th and 20th in the 100 at 12.82 and 13.88. Denham Springs’ Troy Golmond won in 11.29.

Albert Caillouet was 18th in the 800 with a time of 2:40. Ascension Catholic’s Chase Walker won in 2:02.

Aiden McIntosh was 20th in the 200 after finishing the race in 27.93. Jesuit’s Jordan Hughes won in 22.75.

St. Paul’s School won the meet with 134 points.

Denham Springs was second at 116, followed by Jesuit’s 77, Live Oak’s 76 and Parkview Baptist’s 52, as 11 teams posted points.
