Pine’s Lady Raiders were in the 2021 STA-CHS Judy Baehr Relays that were held on March 12 at Covington.

Cameron Magee was 12th in the 800 after running in 2 minutes, 57 seconds. Isidore Newman’s Maggie Smith won in 2:35.

Hannah Hughes was 15th in the shot put and discus. She threw the shot put 22 feet, 8 inches and the discus 57-2. Parkview Baptist’s Ariel Pedigo won the shot put at 36-4, while Denham Spring’ Raygan Bosco topped the discus at 85-4.

Hughes was 15th in the javelin with a 52-9. Pedigo won at 142-3.25.

Denham Springs won the meet with 128 points.

Isidore Newman was second with 97, followed by St. Scholastica Academy’s 72, Parkview Baptist’s 63 and Live Oak’s 55, as 11 teams posted points.
Pine will be back in action on April 9 at Southeastern Louisiana University.
