Bogalusa competed at Northshore

SLIDELL — Bogalusa competed in the Jim Camhout Invitational that took place on March 12 at Northshore High School.

Bogalusa was the only team from Washington Parish in the meet.

Kalik Foster took seventh in the discus with a throw of 89 feet, 6 inches. Northshore’s Matthew Cleland won with a distance of 130-5.

Haikem Thompson and Tony Harrish were ninth and 12th in the javelin with throws of 120-9 and 96-10 respectively. Archbishop Rummel’s Evan Catoire captured the event with a 150-9.

Foster and Jayden Brice were 12th and 16th in the shot put after going for 35-5 and 31-0.5. Northshore’s Spencer Woodruff won with a throw of 45-6.

Xavier Adams and Tony Harris ran 19th and 23rd in the 100 meters with times of 12.67 seconds and 14.09. St. Augustine’s Eric Thomas ran an 11.08 to win.

St. Augustine won the team portion of the meet with 107 points, as 13 teams tallied points.

Hahnville posted 91 points for second, followed by Slidell’s 76, Archbishop Rummel’s 75 and KIPP Booker T. Washington rounded out the top with 63.
