Billy Ivan Jones, 70, a resident of the Enon community, died suddenly Sunday evening, March 21, 2021 at his home. He was retired from Crown Zellerbach after a 25-year career. Billy loved working in his yard, cutting his grass and gardening. He enjoyed cooking and baking cakes for his family and friends. Billy had a big personality and a big heart of gold, always thinking of others. He will be sadly missed by all those that knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Easley Jones of Enon; daughter-in-law, Maria Paula Jones of Enon; children and spouses, Charles and Livia Mooney of Picayune, Miss., Jon and Denise Mooney of Folsom, Crystal Gail Danos and Chase Danos of Franklinton, and Linda and Christopher Hill of Slidell; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Clifton Easley, Kevin and Gloria Jean Easley, Chuck and Pam McMichael, Charles and Robbie Easley, Marie and Randy Brewster, Theresa Easley, and Rebecca and Shorty Blair; and also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

He was preceded in death recently by his son, Billy Paul Jones; first wife, Linda Sue Mitchell Jones; parents, Ivan Jones and Erma Jean Miley Jones; brother, Greg Jones; and other family members.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home on Thursday, March 25, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 25, with the Rev. Leon Hickman officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencer Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chase Danos, Willie Cochran, Kevin Easley, Charles Easley, Chuck McMichael, Mark Rayborn and Lance Estrada.
