Demons defeat Pine, Fontainebleau

Franklinton won both games held on Tuesday and Thursday against Pine and Fontainebleau.

On Tuesday, the Wascom brothers combined on a one-hit 5-0 win over Pine on the road.

Micah Wascom went five innings of no-hit ball with 11 strikeouts and three walks.

Isaac Wascom threw two innings, allowing one hit with three strikeouts and one walk.

Jordan McKenzie singled, drove in two runs and scored a run.

Chase Penton and Trayshun Warren both singled, scored a run and drove in a run.

Banyan Penton doubled and scored a run.

Isaac Wascom singled and scored a run.

Coby Sheridan recorded a hit for Pine.

On Thursday, Franklinton’s Warren hit a walkout double that played Sigler with the winning run in a 7-6 victory.

Fontainebleau tied the game at 6-6 in the top of the seventh, but in the bottom of the frame, Sigler was hit to leadoff. After the next two hitters were out, Chase Penton was hit, bringing up Warren, who doubled home Sigler with the winning run.

Warren had the one hit and RBI with two runs scored.

Sigler scored a run.

Banyan Penton went 2-for-4 with a double.

Turner singled and drove in a run.

Rickey Burkhalter and Isaac Wascom both singled.

McKenzie scored two runs, while Kelly Daniels and Rickeen Burkhalter both scored a run.
